Overview

Favor Tracker is a Go command-line app for tracking Favor driving: trips, guarantee pay, and expenses, stored in a local SQLite file.

I built it to write something public in Go and to keep my own books while driving for Favor — base pay, bonuses, tips, guarantees, and costs in one place.

What it tracks

  • Trips — date, miles, duration, base pay, bonus, and tips (total pay calculated for cross-checks)

  • Guarantees — dated offers, bonuses, or other non-trip payments

  • Expenses — amount, date, category, and optional note (gas, maintenance, parking, tolls, and more)

How it works

  • Interactive menu plus flag-based commands for adding and viewing data

  • Paginated ledger and trip views with edit/delete from the prompt

  • Overview totals for miles, time, trip pay, guarantees, expenses by category, and net

  • Local SQLite storage (favor.db) — no account, no cloud required
